Background
Nathan’s Helping Hands Foundation is a non-profit organization established by the parents of a child with a disability to assists families of children with disabilities in Jamaican through training, advocacy, referral to community resources, information and other special services.
Mission Statement
The mission of Nathan’s Helping Hands Foundation is to empower and support families, professionals and community caring for children with disabilities in Jamaica, and to minister Gods love to them in practical ways.
Vision Statement
Our vision is that all Jamaican parents of children with disabilities will have universal access to information, training, support and advocacy skills to ensure their children achieve their fullest potential, while leading the community on the rights of all children.
Values
The values of the Nathan’s Helping Hands Foundation of Jamaica is based in Christian heritage, is committed to love, excellent services, innovation, diversity, creativity, honesty and integrity as we seek to enrich the lives of children (and their families) living with disabilities in Jamaica.
