Definition

Client- a person, family, company or organization that require a service from us
Babysitter- a person employ by the business to care for children
Tutor- a person employ by the business to conduct one on one teaching with clients' children

Reservation

All reservations must only be made through the business contact numbers and email address
For in-home child care and tutoring reservation all bookings must be made at least 24 hours before required service if made by telephone and at least 48 hours via email
Reservations for in-home care are available to siblings only.
For group reservation all booking must be made at least 3 weeks before the event
All in-home and tutoring services are charged per hour
All group services charges are based on the number of children, the duration of the event, food and or transportation of children
We charge for a minimum of four hours for in-home and group sittings
We cannot guarantee the same babysitter and tutor at all times for the in-home and tutoring service
There will be an additional cost of service required on statutory holidays and New Year's Eve
all reservations are subject to availability.

Fees and charges

All fees and charges may be changed without notice
There is an additional charge of $JM300 if there is a time change for in home sitting and tutoring made less than 10 hrs before the reserved time
There is a 5% charge on the total cost if there is a date and time change made less than 10 days before the reserved date for group sitting
Emergency booking (less than 24 hrs by telephone and less than 48 hrs by email before anticipated reserve time) for in-home sitting and tutoring service may attract a 3% charge
Emergency booking (less than 3 weeks) for group sitting may attract a 7.5% charge
All overdue accounts may attract a 3% charge
A 18% gratuity may be charged on group sittings
Credit card payments may attract a 3-5% charge
GCT is already included in the hourly rate for in-home and tutoring service
GCT will be calculated on all group sittings cost

Payment

For the in-home service full payment is due for total hours reserved before the reservation is confirmed and the babysitter is sent to the location
Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payments can be arranged for tutoring service.
A 50% deposit is due 10 days before the event for group sitting and the balance paid three working days after the event for all group sitting
Babysitters and tutors cannot accept cash except for gratuity
Gratuity for in-home sitting and tutoring service can be prepaid
All payments must be made using Paymaster online or Paymaster Branches
Cancellations: 10 hour notice must be given for in-home and executive child care. If you cancel less than 10 hours before the scheduled start time, or if you cancel when the babysitter arrives a minimum of 4 hours charge will not be returned.

Obligations of clients

All complaints regarding quality of service and the conduct of the babysitters and tutors must be promptly reported to the management of the business
Clients must make available all contact information for the babysitter
Babysitters must be provided with the rules for the children, nap, bath, feed and play time

Clients may not require domestic chores to be done, other than those directly associated with the care of the children-such as preparing meals, changing nappies or diapers and tidying away toys which have been played with during the course of the sitting.
Clients are required to cover transportation cost for services rendered between 9pm and 6am

Exclusion from liability

In-home service and tutoring service requires that all supervision be made by the client
We are not liable for negligent, malicious, willful or criminal acts performed by babysitters and tutors while under the supervision of the client
We use reasonable endevours to verify background information on all our babysitters. However, we cannot provide warranty to any information given by babysitters and tutors
We are unable to guarantee that the preferred babysitter and tutor will always be available for reservation
We are unable to guarantee that babysitters and tutors can stay beyond the allotted time reserved.
Babysitters ar not allowed to supervise or swim with children

Termination

We have all right to terminate contracts that are not in the best interest of the business without notice
There will be no refund of registration or deposit fee if the termination of the contract is the fault of the client

Security

Security of clients’ information are top priority
We have implemented reasonable measures to protect information provided by the client
We cannot guarantee that our measures will ensure 100% protection from unauthorized access to clients’ information
